PAIR OF ART DECO FIGURAL LAMPS

Pair of Extraordinary Art Deco Figural Lamps.  Circa 1925.  This pair of tall, graceful figural lamps, have everything any collector of early 20th century decor or lighting would want.  Each light features the slender figure of a lovely young women holding a torch in one upraised hand.  She is standing on a stylized rock which is mounted on a large, pierced open-work pedestal base.  The torch in her hand is amber and matches the hanging beads on the shades.  The shades themselves are a frosted white glass with a high-style Deco design of "blown out" fruit.  The original "bronzed" finish is also in excellent condition, as are the shades and the hanging beaded fringe.  Re-wired.  24" tall x 8 1/4" diameter.  Price $1,200  for the pair.
